Cold 4-bet
What it means
Making a 4-bet without having voluntarily put chips into the hand before: facing one player's open and another player's 3-bet. Since two opponents have already shown strength, the cold 4-betting range is almost all value.
Example
The CO opens to 2.5 bb, the BTN 3-bets to 7.5 bb and from the SB you raise to 18 bb: that is a cold 4-bet.
