Donk bet
What it means
A bet by an out-of-position player into the aggressor from the previous street, without letting them act first. It's uncommon in baseline strategies, but it has specific uses.
Example
The CO opens and the BB calls. On the flop the BB bets 2 bb right away instead of checking to the aggressor: that's a donk bet.
Also called: Donk · Lead · Apuesta de frente
