Pot
What it means
The total chips the players have put into the hand. It goes to whoever has the best hand at showdown or whoever is the last player left in the hand.
Example
The CO opens to 2.5 bb, the BTN calls and the blinds fold: the pot on the flop is 2.5 + 2.5 + 0.5 + 1 = 6.5 bb.
