Runout
What it means
The community cards still to come up to the river. Equity is calculated by going through the possible runouts and counting how often each hand wins, ties or loses.
Example
On the flop there are 47 unseen cards: there are 47 × 46 / 2 = 1,081 possible turn and river runouts.
