What you will learn: the full syllabus

  1. Module 1: Ranges by position and RFI

How the opening range (RFI) changes depending on how many players are left to act: from a tight UTG to a wide button, plus the special case of the small blind.

    3 lessons

  2. Module 2: Facing an open and 3-betting

What to do when someone has opened before you: fold, cold call or 3-bet, and how the opener's position and the players left behind affect your choice.

    3 lessons

  3. Module 3: Facing a 3-bet and intro to 4-betting

You opened and got 3-bet: when to fold, when to call and when to 4-bet. How position, the 3-bettor's range and the size of the pot left to play affect the decision.

    3 lessons

  4. Module 4: Blind defense

The BB gets the best price at the table and defends wide; the SB pays more and plays worse. How to defend, when to 3-bet from the blinds and how defense changes with the open size.

    3 lessons

  5. Module 5: Effective stack, depth and SPR

How many chips are really in play, how the ratio between stack and pot (SPR) is measured and what changes when stacks are short (40 bb) or deep (200 bb).

    3 lessons

  6. Module 6: Position, equity and EV

Why playing in position is worth chips, what equity realization is and how to calculate the expected value (EV) of a call or a bluff with simple numbers, including fold equity.

    4 lessons

  7. Module 7: Board textures and range reading

How to classify a flop (dry, coordinated, monotone, two-tone, paired, high or low), how to narrow the opponent's range based on their actions and what it means to have a range advantage or a nut advantage.

    3 lessons

  8. Module 8: C-bet, check and check-raise

When to keep betting on the flop as the preflop aggressor, when it's better to check, how to use the delayed c-bet and how to attack (and defend yourself) with the check-raise.

    3 lessons

  9. Module 9: Turn: barrels and semi-bluffs

How to read the turn card, when to keep betting (second barrel) and when to slow down, and how to use semi-bluffs with draws.

    3 lessons

  10. Module 10: River: thin value, bluffs and bluff catchers

How to decide on the last street: thin value, showdown value, bluffs with missed draws, basic blockers, range shapes and when to call with a bluff catcher.

    3 lessons

  12. Module 12: Opponents, adjustments and formats

Opponent profiles (nit, TAG, LAG, calling station), responsible exploitative adjustments and what changes in tournaments with antes, 9-max tables and heads-up.

    3 lessons

  13. Module 13: Hand review and mental game

A concrete process for reviewing your hands, separating decisions from results, understanding variance and downswings, and protecting your bankroll and your head from tilt.

    3 lessons

  14. Module 14: Putting it together: complete hands and final exam

Complete hands from preflop to river that bring the whole level together: value on three streets, semi-bluffs out of position and 3-bet pots with a medium-low SPR (5). It ends with the final exam.
