Assumed range
What it means
The range the exercise assigns to a player so the calculations can be done (combos, equity, EV). The correct answer corresponds to that range: if your read on the opponent is different, you change the range and the decision may change.
Example
Assumed range of the CO going all-in for 12 bb: QQ+, AK and AQ. If the assumed range is wide (22+, any ace, KT+, QT+ and JT), the same hand has a different equity and the decision may change.
Also called: Rango supuesto · Rangos supuestos
