Dead cards
What it means
Cards you know can't come (for example, the ones a player showed when folding), which are removed from the deck when counting outs and equity. If they were your outs, your equity goes down.
Example
You have a flush draw with 9 outs and you know a player who folded had two cards of that suit: you have 7 outs left.
