Merged range

What it means

A betting or 3-betting range that includes strong and medium hands that want to get called by worse, without a separate group of bluffs. It's the opposite of a polarized range (very strong + bluffs). In practice, it's what the Intermediate level called a linear range.

Example

A 3-bet with QQ+, AK, AQ, KQs and JJ–TT against an opponent who calls a lot is merged: many medium hands bet for value.
