Pot-sized bet
What it means
Betting the same amount that is in the pot. It asks your opponent for 33.3% equity to call. With strong hands on boards with draws it gets value and protects; on dry boards it scares away many worse hands that would call a small size.
Example
The pot is 6 bb and you bet 6 bb: your opponent calls 6 for a final pot of 18, so they need 6 / 18 = 33.3% equity.
