Price (required equity)
What it means
The minimum equity a call needs not to lose chips: what you call ÷ the final pot (the pot after your call). If your equity is above the price and you realize it, calling wins chips in the long run. When you bet, the price is what you ask of your opponent.
Example
The pot is 6 bb and your opponent bets 2 bb: you call 2 for a final pot of 10, so the price is 20%. If your hand has 26.1% equity and you get to see the cards, calling wins chips in the long run.
Also called: Precio · Equity necesaria · Required equity · Equity que pide · Equity mínima
