What you will learn: the full syllabus

  1. Module 0: Welcome: from range to complete strategy

What changes at the Professional level: from thinking about your hand against a range to thinking about your whole strategy (ranges against ranges, frequencies and the EV of each line). How the level works and an active diagnostic of combos, MDF, SPR and geometric sizing.

    2 lessons

  2. Module 1: 100 bb preflop: opens by position

The opens from each position with the course charts, in combos and percentages: why the range widens with position, what tips the mixed hands and what price each open size gives the blinds.

    3 lessons

  3. Module 2: 3-bet, 4-bet and 5-bet at 100 bb

Build your 3-bet by position (linear when you can't call, polarized when you can), choose the size (3× in position, more than 4× out of position), count the folds each bluff 3-bet and 4-bet needs, choose bluffs by blockers and decide against the 4-bet and the all-in 5-bet with the price and the SPR that's left.

    3 lessons

  4. Module 3: Blinds: defending the BB and playing from the SB

Defending the BB against each position with the course charts: the price the open gives, preflop MDF as a reference and why the defense goes up or down with the opener's range and with what you realize out of position. The SB against an open (3-bet or fold), and blind-versus-blind play: SB opens, limps and isolation.

    3 lessons

  5. Module 4: Flop strategy by texture: range or selective c-bet

The flop texture decides how much you bet and with what. You count each side's range advantage and nut advantage, and with that you choose a plan: bet small with your whole range when the flop favors you, or bet big with part of your range and check the rest when it favors the caller. Position and the opponent adjust that plan.

    4 lessons

  6. Module 5: Check-raise: when to do it and how to face it

The check-raise is the strongest play available to the player who acts first. Which hands raise for value and with which draws, how many bluffs each size allows, how to respond when you get raised, and what changes when the check-raise comes on the turn with the stack at stake.

    3 lessons

  7. Module 6: Professional turn play: cards that shift the advantage

The turn decides the size of the river pot. Which cards give each range the advantage, when to keep betting with a plan for the river, when to overbet, when to bet after a checked flop, and what equity and what SPR are left for the last street.

    3 lessons

  8. Module 7: Polarized river: sizes, blockers and bluff-catching

The last street with range-versus-range math: which hands bet and with what size, how many bluffs each size allows, how to read your opponent's size, which bluff catcher calls based on what it blocks, when thin value gets paid and when to check-raise.

    4 lessons

  9. Module 8: Comparing lines by EV

Every decision is a tree: fold, check, call, bet or raise, and what your opponent can respond to each. You put an EV on each branch with fold equity, equity when called and realization, pick the highest and find out which assumption would have to change for the choice to flip.

    3 lessons

  10. Module 9: 3-bet and 4-bet pots at low SPR

At low SPR the stack goes in with one or two bets. Calculate each pot's stack-off threshold, bet small with your whole range when the board favors the 3-bettor, defend against that bet, and decide with top pair and overpairs in 3-bet and 4-bet pots by counting the equity against what goes all-in.

    3 lessons

  11. Module 10: Advanced multiway and squeeze

Betting and defending against two or more opponents (folds that multiply, MDF split between players, stronger betting ranges) and the full squeeze: size based on how many called, the folds it needs against two players, which hands squeeze and how to defend when you get squeezed.

    3 lessons

  12. Module 11: Different stack depths and tournaments (ICM)

What changes at 40 bb and at 200 bb (chart ranges, SPR, all-ins, speculative hands, overbets and the price of big all-ins) and, as a complement for the cash game player, what changes in a tournament: the ante, ICM and the bubble factor, which demand more equity to call near the money.

    3 lessons

  13. Module 12: Advanced exploitation

Opponent profiles read as frequencies, the best response to what you observe, how much to trust a sample and when to go back to the baseline before the adjustment costs you.

    3 lessons

  14. Module 13: Study, variance and bankroll

How much your winrate tells you depending on the number of hands, how likely you are to be down even while winning, how much bankroll each risk of ruin requires and how to review your hands to build your own database of mistakes ordered by what they cost you.

    3 lessons

  15. Module 14: Professional integration and final exam

Three full hands, from preflop to river, solved with a single method: course chart, SPR, the range that reaches each street, price and share of bluffs. Two "What changed?" comparisons and how to prepare for the final exam.
