BB (Big Blind)
What it means
The seat that posts the big blind. It's the last to act preflop and, since it already has 1 bb invested, it usually defends more hands against a raise.
Example
The BTN opens to 2.5 bb and the SB folds. The BB only has to call 1.5 bb more to see the flop in a 5.5 bb pot.
