Position
What it means
Your place in the order of action relative to the button. Acting after your opponent gives you more information, which is why the late positions are the most profitable.
Example
In 6-max the preflop order is UTG, HJ, CO, BTN, SB and BB. After the flop the blinds act first and the button last.
