Capped range
What it means
A range that is missing (or almost missing) the strongest hands because, with them, the player would have taken a different line earlier (for example, raising). It's the opposite of an "uncapped" range.
Example
A player who just calls a 3-bet in position usually has few AA and KK (with those hands they often 4-bet): their range is capped.
Also called: rango con techo · capped
