Deep stack
What it means
A stack with many big blinds: in cash, more than the usual 100 bb (for example, 200 bb). With deep stacks the SPR is high, hands that make strong hands gain value (small pairs, suited hands) and holding the second-best hand costs more.
Example
With 200 bb, hitting a set with can win a huge pot; with the same hand and 20 bb, there are hardly any chips left behind to win.
