Indifference

What it means

The point where two of your opponent's options are worth the same (for example, calling or folding a bluff catcher). In the polarized river model, the bettor makes the caller indifferent with bluffs / (value + bluffs) = bet / (pot + 2 × bet).

Example

A 2/3 pot bet (6 into 9): 6 / 21 = 28.6% bluffs in the betting range; more or less than that gives your opponent a response that wins chips.
