Raise
What it means
To increase a previous bet. In most card rooms the minimum raise must be at least the size of the last increase.
Example
Your opponent bets 3 bb on the flop and you raise to 9 bb. The increase was 6 bb, so a new minimum re-raise would be to 15 bb.
