Line
What it means
The sequence of actions you choose in a hand or on a street: for example, betting flop and turn, or check-calling. To compare lines, you calculate the EV of each one with the same assumptions about your opponent.
Example
On the river you can bet or check: those are two lines. The more your opponent folds to your bet, the more the betting line gains over the checking line.
