Push/fold

What it means

A way of playing a short stack where the only aggressive move is going all-in. As a model, it's a small game that can be solved; in the full game there are other options (limp, min-raise), so it's a baseline, not "the only play".

Example

With 10 bb in the SB, against the BB, go all-in or fold: the BB can only call or fold to the all-in.

Also called: push or fold · shove
