Iso-raise

What it means

A raise against one or more limpers to play the pot against a single opponent and with the initiative. Its size depends on position and on how many players act behind; against the SB's limp, the BB raises to 4 bb in the course chart.

Example

The SB completes and the BB raises to 4 with QJo. The SB calls 3 into a final pot of 8 (37.5%) and will play out of position; against a limp made of weak hands, QJo has 57.2% equity.
